The AJSP invites all players to take part annually in the Lusitania Challenge, a two-day L'Art de La Guerre tournament, which takes place on the first weekend of September in Lisbon.

Responding to a long-standing aspiration, the event takes place in the galleries of the Museu de Marinha, which kindly provides AJSP with space in its facilities and the logistical support necessary to hold this important event.

It's a L'Art de La Guerre tournament, 15mm open to all lists, with a 200-point format and five games, with prizes for the first three classified.

During the tournament, demonstration/participation games for other systems will be planned in parallel, to promote simulation games with figures and publicize the Club's activities.

The tournament started with the individual format and the FOG rule system.

Then it was organized as an team tournament (2 players), but with the introduction of the ADLG rules.

The success of the ADLG rules led to it to be organized by teams again, a model that is currently enduring.
